A Focus on the Astral Projection and the Chakras

by Laney M. Nestico

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel, or vortex, and it means each of the 7 energy centers of which our consciousness, our energy system, is comprised. The functioning of the chakras reflects decisions we generate with regards to the way we choose to react to conditions in life.

The chakras are certainly not bodily. Each one of the seven chakras is associated to one of the seven endocrine glands, and in addition with a group of nerves termed as a plexus. Consequently, each and every chakra can be connected with particular areas of the body and unique functions within the body manipulated by that plexus or that endocrine gland connected with that chakra.

All your sensory faculties, all of your perceptions, all your possible states of awareness, everything it is possible for you to encounter, can be split into seven categories. Every category is usually associated with a distinct chakra.

The effective way to research the chakras is thru the conscious out-of-body experience (OBE or astral projection) because this experience permits us to perceive the energetic and non-physical fact that envelopes us. Additionally, it permits us to truly see our chakras and also the energetic connections between them and non-physical creatures. Clairvoyance is another useful tool for exploring chakras but is much less powerful and useful than the out-of-body experience (astral projection or astral travel), which allows direct observation of the truth from a subtler perspective.

So, chakras can present us where our strong and weak points lie when in astral form, and then there are hindrances, and just how we might be repressing info associated with our past (either from this life or previous lives). The chakras may also be used to help us better appreciate how we couple energetically (both consciously and unconsciously) with physical and non-physical people in the astral world, some of whom are nicely balanced plus some of whom usually are not.
